Montana, the 4th largest state in the U.S. Miles and miles of roadway, travelers from all over coming to see all the beauty, and some just passing through. With all of this travel, there is definitely one thing that could make Montana even better for us and travelers.

As we know, Montana loves dogs, I mean you see them daily with their cute little faces out the window of numerous vehicles, enjoying that mountain air, waiting for the next stop to be able to get out and tinkle.

I have had to drive back and forth from Montana to North Dakota, and not western North Dakota, eastern North Dakota, like basically Minnesota, all in all it's a 12 hour drive. When you have a pet with you, you want to do your best to let them stretch their legs just like we need to do.

I have noticed that there are some gas stations and rest areas that have little dog parks attached to them. Now, I have tried my best to mark it on my Apple Maps as a "dog stop", but there are times I forget to mark it as one having a dog park and it's frustrating when you pull up to a rest area and think "I think this is the one with the dog park", just to be disappointed that it's not.

It could all change with one little addition to our signs. If the gas station or rest stop has a special dog area, a little dog symbol could be a total game changer! You would know in 10 miles (or whatever), little Fido will be able to stretch their legs, play a little fetch, and have a potty break.

Anyone with a dog would most likely appreciate this as well. What do you think Montana? Can we just add a little doggy to the signs to help us dog parents out a little bit?
