UPDATE: The Missing Endangered Person Advisory has been canceled. Tirani has been located and is safe.
Authorities are asking for the public's help locating a 9-year-old girl last seen in Bozeman on April 15.
According to a Missing Endangered Person Advisory sent out by the Montana Department of Justice on behalf of the Powell County Sheriff's Office, 9-year-old Tirani Schaub was last seen in Bozeman on April 15. She has not been seen or heard from since 2:00 p.m. on that day.
Tirani Schaub is described as a 9-year-old white female. She is 4 feet 3 inches tall, 55 lbs with blue eyes and blonde hair. Authorities believe that the young girl is with her mother, 40-year-old Laura Beth Reynolds. Reynolds is described as a white female standing 5 feet 3 inches tall, 130lbs, with hazel eyes and brown hair.
The MEPA states that Reynolds was supposed to exchange custody of Tirani with her custodial father in Bozeman on April 17, 2022. However, the exchange didn't happen.
Law enforcement has been in contact with Reynolds via phone and they believe that the young girl may be in danger. Authorities are also concerned that Reynolds may possibly be in possession of a firearm and is currently dealing with mental health issues.
The 9-year-old and her mother were last seen in Bozeman on April 15, but law enforcement believes that they are in the Lewis & Clark County area. The pair was last seen in a red 2000 For F-150 with Montana license plate 285661A.
If you know of their whereabouts or have any information about either Tirani or Laura, you are urged to call the Powell County Sheriff's Office at 406-846-2711 or dial 911.
