Where Does Bozeman, Montana Rank For Best Small City In The U.S?

When it comes to living in Montana, it's no surprise that people are choosing Bozeman. Even with the high cost of housing, people seem to "make it work" and keep heading our way.

When you think about it, it sort of makes sense. We are just a short drive from Big Sky, we have an abundance of trails for hiking, running, or biking, and of course, we have the beautiful Bridger Mountains. If you have a passion for any outdoor activity, really, Bozeman will easily fulfill your desires.

What else does Bozeman have that makes people think, "that's where I want to live"? Well, when it comes to best small cities in America, Bozeman is within the top 8%. WalletHub came out with some new statistics based on things like affordability, economic health, education health, quality of life, and crime.

For those of us who live here full time, it doesn't seem "affordable" by any means. But I suppose if you compare it to other cities in the United States, perhaps some of our costs are lower, making Bozeman seem more "reasonable," at least on the outside.

Crime seems to still be on the lower end when compared to other cities, and as far as economic growth, all you have to do is drive around to see that clearly, the city is growing. Apartments going up on every other block, new businesses are opening, and the demand for housing is ridiculous.

Would you consider Bozeman one of the best small cities in America? Is Bozeman even a "city"? I am guessing that a lot of people don't consider Bozeman a city and don't want to see it expand any more than it already has in the last few years. I still remember when 7th was basically the edge of town, back in the good ol' days.
