It's the "wedding of the new millennium": Prince William and Kate Middleton will marry at London's Westminster Abbey on April 29, and the entire world is waiting for the day to arrive.

The future king of the United Kingdom explained in TLC's 'William & Kate: Inside the Royal Wedding' that he was interested in her from the first moment he saw her.

"But we ended up being friends for a while and that was a good sort of foundation," he said, adding dryly, "I'm obviously extremely funny, and she loves that."

For her part, Kate told a high school friend that she'd met "this really nice boy" at the University of St. Andrews. At the time, she would only reveal his name to be "Willie".
