I am as girly girl as you will find in Montana.  I love anything pink, stilettos and great boots, shopping, spa time - typical girl stuff.   On the flip side, I love sports.  Especially hockey.  I was born and raised in North Dakota and Hockey is just what people do there.   The Stanley Cup is one of my favorite times of year - with a close second being the Winter Classic Game played each year on New Years Day.
This game is played the way hockey started, outside.  It has seen venues such as Fenway Park and Wrigley Field, and this year was played in Pittsburgh's Heinz Field.  The weekend was plagued with rain as NHL Phenom Sydney Crosby took on his rival Alex Ovechkin.  This Pittsburgh Penguins Washington Capitals game was a rematch from last year when Crosby himself won it in a shootout in overtime.

I am not going to tell you who wins or loses the game.  They are replaying it over and over again on ESPN and I would highly suggest watching it.  If you are a hockey fan it will remind you why, and if you are not - well...tell me what you think AFTER watching this.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
