World’s Largest Chicken Nugget Is 51 Pounds of Cluckin’ Deliciousness
Not all chicken nuggets come in those micro-dinosaur-shaped, easy-for-your-kids-to-digest sizes.
Take a good look at the photo above. It’s the world’s largest chicken nugget and it comes from Empire Kosher Poultry. It weighs a robust 51.1 pounds, which makes us wonder exactly how much the chicken it came from weighs.
It took about 45 minutes to cook the nugget in a 500-gallon fryer. It’s covered in two-and-a-half pounds of breading and is roughly the equivalent of 720 normal nuggets.
If Empire is going to cook up some giant nuggets, how about making some in the shape of a dinosaur? Kids would love that.
