At 19, I was naïve and had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. Living in Spokane, WA, all I wanted to do was get out and live in a big city. That’s when my career literally came out of nowhere. I wanted to do some good around the holidays so I counted donated money from listeners at my favorite radio station. I met the morning show and that’s when my insane journey began. I dropped out of college, started on air with my favorite morning show and stayed two years before I was hired to do a morning show at KISS in Seattle. With about a month’s notice, I packed up everything, celebrated Christmas at Denny’s and moved to Seattle. After 8 years, more memories than I could count and having been a completely changed person, I moved to Denver for about a minute and then to Nashville for four years. The River in Nashville was my new home and mornings is where I landed…and nights. Who? Me? Two shows during the day. Why the heck not? Now that I was clear across the country, I just wanted to move closer to my family. Nashville is one of the raddest cities but there’s nothing like the northwest. Boise wasn’t even on my radar so when I heard I could move here, I was a little skeptical. What was WRONG with me? This city is one of the best cities I have ever lived in. I feel at home, I am having a ton of fun and I’m in love with my job. What the heck took me so long to discover all that is the Treasure Valley? Here I am, in Boise, putting down roots. You’ll have to drag me out of here.
