As if her Grammys, Brit Awards and countless other accolades weren’t enough confirmation of her superstar status, Adele now has another honor to her name: a cover by Celine Dion.

Adele, LMFAO and Rihanna lead the nominations for the 2012 Billboard Awards, which take place at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand and will be broadcast live Sunday May 20 at 8 PM ET on ABC.

The trappings of being the most famous singer in the world are catching up to Adele and she’s not going to take it or allow her good name and image to be sullied. The singer has quickly launched a lawsuit against French magazine Public after it published photos that it claims were taken from a sex tape featuring the the six-time 2012 Grammy Award winner.
