Montana is being full-on Montana this week with up to 14 inches of snow possible by Friday afternoon in the higher elevations from Helena up to Glacier National Park. Lower valleys could see up to 5 inches of snow.
Thunderstorm activity in parts of southwest Montana are again our enemy. Lightning strikes could spark new wildfires and conditions are still very dangerous.
Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for several SW Montana counties this Sunday with up to 6 inches of snow expected in the mountains by Sunday night.
