Where were you on 3/5/9 when our world came to a sudden stop with a massive explosion in the heart of downtown Bozeman.  Taking out local favorites including the Rockin R Bar, Starky's Deli, Lilly Lu's, The Montana Trails Gallery,  Rocky Mountain Toy Company, Boodles and the Rocky Mountain Rug Gallery - and killing one of our own...

I think it's safe to say the Super Bowl has become an official tradition here in the US.  Maybe we should make Monday a National Holiday?   :)

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  What does it mean to you? In many places, Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday means a reprieve from school and work in lieu of a day dedicated to community service and contemplating King's legacy.  While that's true for some in the Gallatin Valley, it is not true for all.  But that doesn't mean the holiday is lost on local residents.
