8 Fun Things to do Around Bozeman This Weekend

Beer festivals, garage sales, eclipse parties, lectures and more are happening in the Bozeman area this weekend.

Thursday, May 12th: Guided Bird Walks at Story Mill Community Park - Happening from 8am to 11am. Sacajawea Audubon Society is partnering with the City of Bozeman to offer free guided bird walks at the Story Mill Community Park. Pre-registration is requested.

Friday, May 13th: Livingston Farmers Market Fundraiser at Neptune’s Brewery - (119 North L Street, Livingston) Happening 4pm to 8pm. Benson’s Landing String Band to perform and Up In Smoke BBQ will be onsite for purchase. $1 of every beer will be donated to the Livingston Farmers Market.

Friday, May 13th and Saturday, May 14th: Spring Rummage Sale at the Pilgrim Congregational UCC Bozeman - (2118 South 3rd Avenue, Bozeman) Happening 12 noon to 6pm on Friday, and 8am to 2pm on Saturday. Shop till you drop at the Spring Women of Pilgrim Rummage Sale. Proceeds support WoP projects and Pilgrim UCC Church. (Small bills are always a good idea at rummage sales...)

Saturday, May 14th: Amaltheia Organic Plant Sale and Pop Up Farmer's Market - Happening 10am to 2pm, every Saturday in May. Plant starts, herbs, and strawberry and nasturium hanging baskets! Plus vegetables, goat cheese, pork, goat milk lotion, compost, and some other vendors with flowers, bread, granola, maple syrup, herbal teas, and tinctures. Baby goats and lambs to snuggle!

Saturday, May 14th: Montana Brewers Spring Rendezvous at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds - Happening 3pm to 8pm. VIP hour: 3:00-4:00 pm and General Admission: 4:00-8:00 pm. Collectible glass with your ticket purchase. Advance: $40 VIP (SOLD OUT), $30 GA in advance. Day of the event, $35 GA.

Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th: GEM, JEWELRY, MINERAL, BEAD, & FOSSIL SHOW at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds - Saturday hours 10AM - 6PM, Sunday hours 10AM - 4PM. Admission is $3 for adults, children under 12 are free. Kids will get a free polished rock.

Sunday, May 15th: Lunar Eclipse Viewing party at the Belgrade Senior Center - Happening 9pm to 10pm. There will be a kid-friendly walk in Belgrade earlier in the day with fun facts about our solar system and games.

Sunday, May 15th: Total Lunar Eclipse Party for Members of the Museum of the Rockies - Starts at 8:30pm. See the lunar eclipse with our telescopes, or via NASA’s livestream from the comfort of our own Taylor Planetarium (in case of inclement weather). Registration is required.
