Greetings from The MOOSE Morning Show! (It's hard to believe I've been around this joint for 26 years.) I'm always honored that you've spent part of your day with 94.7 The MOOSE. We try really hard every day to capture the best of the Gallatin Valley and for me, that means waking up at 4:30 am and heading downtown to our studios. After living in the Valley for 30 years, Bozeman never gets dull. Sure, it's a lot bigger than when I was in college at Montana State but it's never been 'dull'. If you ever come across something you think I should know about, don't hesitate to reach out. Could be a new band I need to hear or a new restaurant you think I should try. I'd love to hear about it. You can always call the studio at (406) 587-0951 during the MOOSE Morning Show from 6am to 10am. If you'd like to reach out via email, no problem. Just send an email HERE. I really do check my email and will address any issues you might have. Suggestions, questions and comments are always welcome. Really. -Michelle
Perfect Example of Why Californians Annoy Montanans
C'mon. I'm pretty laid back with the tourists. I was a tourist here too, decades ago. But things like this just make some visitors a glaring target for growliness from locals. THIS ONE for about three different reasons.
The History and Meaning of the Montana Flag
It's been modified a couple of times over the years but the flag of Montana (as we know it) was essentially born in 1905. But Montana became a state in 1889. What gives?

Montana Restaurants: Is My DoorDash Order Hurting More Than Helping?
So many of us have fallen in love with the convenience of DoorDash and other delivery services. The pandemic was one thing. Now it's an enormous time saver. However, I'm now concerned with reports of local restaurants taking a much bigger hit on these types of orders.
Have You Seen Montana’s “Hobo Hut” Bus? Where is it Going?
So, I saw this on a flatbed truck this morning heading east out of Bozeman. The marquee on the front of the bus labeled itself as the "Hobo Hut". Their words, not mine.

No Reservations Needed This Season at Bridger Bowl, For Now
Quite frankly, I was happy to have a ski season AT ALL last year even though making reservations was a pain. Bridger Bowl and other ski areas that used a sign-up system to limit traffic, don't expect to be using that this 2021-2022 ski season.
