Manhattan, Mont. is definitely growing. No, they aren't putting in a stoplight or anything like that, but they are home to a new Ace Hardware.  On Monday, Ace Hardware announced on Facebook they will be officially opening their doors on Tuesday, October 13th at 8 a.m.

Steve Bachmeier, the owner of Belgrade Ace Hardware, broke ground on the project earlier this year. Since then they have been working on constructing a new 15,000 square foot building.

The Manhattan store will be a little over half the size of the Belgrade Ace Hardware and will carry a very similar product line. They have announced they will feature some local products including floral arrangements from Manhattans own Bridger Mountain Floral. As with his Belgrade store, Bachmeier wants to serve the community with the new store and impact local lives.

The new store is located at 130 East Wooden Shoe Lane and is very visible right off of I-90. Their hours will be Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Locals are excited about the opening. On Facebook Joann Wattier was very welcoming in stating "Looking so forward to your opening....welcome to our great community."  One Manhattan resident, Shawna Longie, even joked "Wonder if it's okay to skip work to come to Ace?! Can't wait!!!"

In the video below you can get a peek inside the store as they were working on some of the finishing touches earlier in October.
