Getting a package delivered to Montana is a struggle. You never know if it's actually going to show up when it's supposed to. Here's a funny story about an experience that I'm currently dealing with.

So, a little backstory. I'm an avid collector of vinyl records, and am always ordering things online. Since I live in Manhattan, everything usually gets sent to my P.O. Box because Manhattan doesn't offer at-home mail delivery. To clarify, I'm talking about Manhattan, Montana, not Manhattan, New York.
The Thrilling Adventures My Montana USPS Package
I received an email a couple of weeks ago informing me that my copy of Eminem's "The Death of Slim Shady" had been shipped, and the expected delivery date was Monday, October 28. On Monday, I received another email that my package had arrived in Billings, and was in transit. I figured that meant it was on a truck heading towards Bozeman, but I was wrong.
It was shipped from Detroit, and was sent to North Carolina and Utah before arriving in Billings. According to the tracking information, it was in transit from Billings for two days. On Wednesday, I got an email saying my package was in Manhattan, NY. The next day, it was somewhere in New Jersey. My Eminem record has seen more of the America in the past week than I have in my entire life.
The fact that it arrived in Montana, and was sent to New York is a really head-scratcher. I thought that by 2024, we would have this kind of thing figured out. With the holidays coming up, you may want to get a head start on your shopping to ensure your packages show up in time for Christmas.
Sadly, I'm still waiting for my package to arrive. The latest update said it departed a USPS facility in New Jersey. Do you have a USPS horror story? Send us an app chat on our radio station app, and tell us about it.
