Beautiful Sights From My 4th Of July Trip To Idaho [PHOTOS]
With all of the craziness going on in the world right now, I decided to escape to Idaho and spend a few days with my family in the mountains. It was a very special trip. My family and I camped in a place that we have camped many times throughout my life. It was also the first time I've seen my family since Christmas, so it was great to spend some quality time with them.
My 4th of July celebration didn't include fireworks. Instead, it was filled with family, hot springs, fishing with my nephew, bull snakes, rivers, and mountain air. I was happy to check out and unplug for a few days. I think we all owe it to ourselves to do that every now and then.
I drove back on Tuesday, and decided to take the long way home. I drove along the Salmon River all the way to the Montana state line. It took me 12 hours to get home, but in my opinion, it was worth it.
