Bozeman Reddit Post Gets Hilarious Response Over Simple Request.

One of my favorite things to do is get on Reddit and watch the drama.  I mostly follow things happening here in Montana, and I get a kick out of reading all of the complaints about...well, everything.

Recently, I was browsing through the Bozeman Reddit threads when I came across a post that seemed a little strange (those are my favorites).  This person simply posted the following:

Looking for friends who will go into the woods with me :(

I will admit, I can certainly see how that might come across as a bit creepy.  Some person that you don't know is looking for folks to go out into the woods with them, in a state that has millions of acres of forests where you could easily be left for dead and no one would know until sometime next spring.

I mean, I've watched enough Datelines to know that there are some wacked-out people in this world. As you can imagine, the post generated lots of comments, and didn't hold back when it came to responding to the poster. Check out some of my favorites below:

A murderer and his future victim are walking in the woods. the victim turns to the murderer and says "gee, this sure is spooky". without skipping a beat, the murderer turns to them and replies "you think this is spooky? I have to walk out of here alone!".

While I'm sure that our poster isn't an actual serial killer, I do feel like this is an opportunity for a public service announcement that going out into a dense forest with a stranger might not be the best use of your time. Stay safe out there.
