The Bozeman Symphony is thrilled to welcome back internationally acclaimed violinist Simone Porter for this celebratory performance. A rising star known for her passionate artistry and expressive depth, Porter returns to Bozeman to perform Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64, a beloved masterpiece of the Romantic era.

Porter last appeared with the Bozeman Symphony in June 2023, earning rave reviews for her performance of Barber’s Violin Concerto. Since then, she’s captivated audiences with leading orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Los Angeles Philharmonic.

The evening culminates in a grand finale with Aaron Copland’s Third Symphony, an American classic that is filled with cinematic emotion and uplifting energy. The piece features Copland’s famous Fanfare for the Common Man and brings the concert to a stirring close.
