That's why when someone comes out with a charming small-town list, I want to know what they chose. Well, this list nailed it.

HGTV made a list of the Top 50 Most Charming Small Towns for 2023, and the spot for Montana is a classic but well-deserved.

HGTV believes Whitefish is Montana's most charming small town in Montana, and we agree. Whitefish is a beloved spot in Northwest Montana and is close to Glacier National Park, has a world-class ski resort nearby, and the downtown area is picturesque.

HGTV also points out that Whitefish was named one of the best ski towns in America by National Geographic and is the perfect place for nature fans.

I've spent a lot of time in Whitefish and believe it's one of the most charming places in Montana. The locals are kind, the views are impeccable, and there is always something to do.

The only other towns I would consider for this list would be places like Philipsburg, Ennis, Gardiner, or Hamilton. We are probably missing a few too. That's the charm about Montana. Montana has so many small towns you can fall in love with. Why wouldn't you want to live here?
