Is This Really Montanans’ Biggest Fear? I Demand A Re-Count.
When I think of Montana, I think of a place that is beautiful yet rugged. A place with breathtaking mountain tops and stunning valleys. When I think of Montanans, I think of folks that are rugged and tough and fear very little.
Now, of course, we all have things that we fear. For some, that fear might be death or public speaking. It could be the fear of being alone or the fear of crowds. Heck, some folks are actually afraid of clowns. However, when it comes to Montanans, what do we fear the most?
I think you're going to be surprised.
The website bestlifeonline.com published an article that broke down the biggest fear of each state and as I was looking at each one, I was shocked to find out the biggest fear of Montanans. In fact, according to the website, we're the only state that listed this as our biggest fear.
So what is it? What is it that Montanans fear the most?
According to the article, the thing that Montanans fear the most is...spiders. Yep, spiders. I mean, we live in a state where I can think of at least 3 or 4 different animals that can kill us with ease, so I'm finding this a little tough to accept. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan, but they certainly aren't my biggest fear. In fact, I don't think they would even make my Top 5.
So what do you think? As a Montanan, is this your biggest fear? Is this the thing that keeps you up at night? Spiders? I just don't see it. Am I the only one?
