Where things get interesting is when you google the county where people live the longest, it's some county in Colorado where the average life span is 86 years. I will admit that I'm not a math expert, but I think 89 is more than 86, so according to that, Montana would be the place where people live the longest on average.
So, what is it about Liberty County?
The majority of the population is German which is known to be a hardy people. There is a large Hutterite population, so that could certainly play a factor. Finally, agriculture is the main business, and let's be honest, being active has proven to increase the length of life.
