We recently learned that Montana's most popular vehicle is the Ford F150. It is also one that has issued 870,701 recalls.

The recall involves the ever popular Ford F150, specifically, Ford F150s from 2021 through 2023 with single exhaust systems in which a rear wiring bundle may contact the rear axle housing.

Basically, what could happen is the recall could unintentionally activate the electric parking brake while you are driving.

Ford stated:

...it will start notifying vehicle owners by mail on Sept. 11. Owners will be instructed to take the affected trucks to a dealer to fix the wiring issue free of charge, as long as the remedy is done before Sept. 11 of next year.- Scripps News

Ford Motor Company has issued multiple recalls within the last few months. Some of those recalls include one for an air bag issue in other F-Series cars and a seat belt issue in some Broncos.

Scripps News reported:

Ford has received 918 warranty claims and three field reports in North America from August 2021 to July 2023. Of those, 299 reported unintended electric parking brake activation, with 19 happening while driving, though the company said it wasn't aware of any accidents or injuries occurring because of the recall.

If you have a Ford F150 (2021-2023) and are wondering if your vehicle is part of the recall, better to be safe than sorry and take your vehicle in to your local dealer.

20 License Plates Banned In Montana

This is just a small glimpse at banned license plates in the state of Montana. There are well over 4000 that could be added to this list.

Now why some of these are banned is beyond me. I don't find any of them offensive, that's for sure; the state of Montana has the right to refuse:

"any combination of letters or numbers, or both, that may carry connotations offensive to good taste and decency or which are misleading or a duplication of license plates provided elsewhere."- Montana Motor Vehicle Department

What plates are banned in your state? Hopefully, they are not as picky as Montana.

Like every state, there are always going to be a few towns that make us think twice about moving there or deciding where to raise our kiddos. The same goes for crime and violence; we hear about all the drug busts, assaults, break-ins, etc. It's not very often we hear about all the great things right?
Well, the list came out from Safewise, and we now know where the Five Safest Cities In Montana are.
