After weeks of desperately needing more rain and snowfall, central and north central Montana got just that. Now that temperatures across the state are forecasted to be much warmer suddenly, flooding of creeks and streams is now the issue.

The area of Montana under this latest Flood Watch is south of Highway 2 and east of Highway 87. Just south of Havre and is where it begins and it includes most of the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation along with Chippewa Cree Tribe, Rocky Boy's Agency.

Flood Watches, Warnings, and Advisories can change quickly. Please check weather updates often if you'll be affected by this area. Even minor flooding can cause significant damage and increase risk of drowning. Should you encounter a flooded road, use extra caution.
