Will This New Development Help Montana’s Busiest Airport?
This has been a long time coming and will be a nice way to relieve stress for many travelers who use this airport.
With the weather warming up and getting pleasant, we will soon see many travelers heading to Montana for vacations or hanging out at their second homes. This also means many locals will be traveling to see new and exciting places to take a break from tourists or work.
Montana's airports have seen massive growth with new airlines and routes, and some have even remodeled their areas to be more appealing to travelers.
Even though many of Montana's airports are seeing record growth in travelers and new flights, one airport stands above.
That would be the Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport.
The Bozeman Airport sees almost three times the amount of travelers than any other airport in Montana, and it makes sense. We are close to the most in-demand summer attractions and have over thirty daily flights.
The Bozeman Airport has been making incredible strides to adapt to the surge in travelers with a parking garage, expanded parking lot, new shops/restaurants, and new terminals.
As we applaud these efforts, one part of the airport needs an update, and now we know it's on the way.
The Bozeman Airport announced they plan to expand the TSA security line by 60% to handle the large amount of travelers they expect to see this upcoming summer.
This is fantastic news for travelers. The TSA line has always been an issue for folks because it can back up fast.
During certain parts of the day, the security line can be long and very slow. That's bad news for anyone who likes waiting until the last minute to arrive at the airport.
The Bozeman Airport is working on this expansion now, and hopefully, it will be done soon.
