According to the Sun, ‘Tudors’ star Jonathan Rhys Meyers was hospitalized Tuesday night after a possible suicide attempt involving pills.

The 33-year-old actor was reportedly found slumped on the floor of his London home, where he was then taken by paramedics to a nearby hospital. He was later discharged in the early morning hours on Wednesday, according to the report.

When reached by the Sun, Meyers had no comment.

“We can confirm we were called by the London Ambulance Service to an address in NW8 to report to a man refusing treatment,” a spokesperson for Scotland Yard later told PEOPLE. “Police attended, and the man was taken by ambulance to a central London hospital. That was the end of our involvement.”

Myers has a history of alcohol addiction, and has done multiple stints in rehab, including one in May.
