Montana Surprisingly Not Selected As One Of America's Best States

It's not often that you read an article that isn't bragging to everyone about how great Montana is. The national spotlight has its advantages and disadvantages, and residents in the state will most likely be happy to know that Montana wasn't named one of the best states in America.

Is Montana One of America's Best States? Apparently Not

There is a lot to love about Montana, but the state also has its share of problems. Housing prices and property taxes in Montana are skyrocketing, an many that live and work in the state are barely scraping by. Montana may look nice on the surface, but there are constant struggles that don't get much attention.

In a recent ranking of the best states in America in 2024 by U.S. News & World Report, Montana didn't even break the top 10. In fact, Montana fell in the middle of the pack at #24, right between New York and Kansas.
