MSU fans are crazy...crazy AWESOME.
No matter where you go around Bozeman, you see Bobcat signs, gear, and support. Having lived in a few college towns, there is just something special about the relationship between Bozeman and Montana State. It goes beyond a partnership with the community and a university, it's more than just a bunch of local fans. It's bigger than that, it's family.
Monday kicks off Homecoming week for MSU and we're about to have a big ole family reunion! A whole week of fun for the students, alumni, and community is planned.
Monday- The Spirit Theme for the day is Career Day. The lighting of the M will take place between 7 pm and 8 pm. This tradition is something folks of all ages look forward to and is the perfect way to kick off Homecoming week.
Tuesday-The Spirit Theme is Twin Tuesday. Tuesday is also Bobcat Family Day, Bobcat Family Day is a chance for students and alumni as well as members of the community to share photos of their Montana State family members on social media
Wednesday-The Spirit Theme is Tie Dye Day, There will be a Homecoming Bar-B-Q from 11 am to 1 pm at Centennial Mall.
Thursday-The Spirit Theme is Pajama Day. There will be a Homecoming Carnival which kicks off at 5 pm and will go until 7 pm. The Carnival will take place at Kagy Sports Field.
Friday-The Spirit Theme is Blue and Gold Friday. The highlight of Friday will be the Pep Rally which will kick off at 6 pm, downtown at the corner of Main and Willson with special guests Coach Vigen and Champ.
Saturday-The Homecoming Parade kicks off at 10 am Saturday morning. Of course there will be tailgating before the game kicks off at 2 pm.
For many members of the Montana State family, Homecoming is just that. A chance to come home and be part of something special, while visiting with family and friends. Let us be the first to welcome you back...home. Go Bobcats!
