Many local businesses have had to temporarily close after employees tested positive for COVID-19.

Last week, Rocking R Bar and Bar IX in downtown Bozeman closed temporarily. At Rocking R Bar, contact tracing was the reason for the closure. At Bar IX, owners decided to have their entire staff tested after neighboring establishments reported employees with that tested positive for COVID-19.

Bar IX has since reopened, but Rocking R Bar will remain closed until Tuesday July 21.

Here's the latest from the Rocking R Bar Facebook page.

On Wednesday, the Community Food Co-op in Bozeman announced that the downtown location at the intersection of Main St. & N. Black Ave. is temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19. The Co-op West Main location remains open.

Here is a statement from the Community Food Co-op in Bozeman.

During the temporary closures, the businesses listed above are following CDC recommendations, including completely cleaning and sanitizing their establishments.
