With places like Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park sucking up all the attention, there are plenty of attractions in Montana that go unnoticed.

That's why, when I saw a recent article about the most terrifying destination in Montana, my curiosity was piqued.

Is This Montana Destination Really That "Terrifying?"

I'll admit that when I saw loveEXPLORING's nomination for the "most terrifying destination" in Montana, I was confused.

I was expecting them to nominate perhaps one of our many ghost towns, or maybe even a haunted house or two.

I would even say the "Going-to-the-Sun Road," which can be a bit of a scary drive at times, could have been nominated.

Actually This Might Be The Most Terrifying Place In Montana.

While none of those places made LoveEXPLORING's list for the most terrifying destination in Montana, I don't think they made the wrong choice either.

That's because the more I thought about the choice, the more I realized that I personally would be terrified to visit.

There are only two things that truly scare me: snakes and heights.
