Montana has become a desirable destination for several national franchises looking to expand. As the population of the state keeps growing, it's no surprise that it's become such a hot spot for well-known franchises and retailers.

Is This Popular Franchise Opening New Locations in Montana?

Recently, there have been rumors circulating online that Chipotle was going to file bankruptcy and close a bunch of locations across the country. According to Forbes, they were only rumors.

The company released a statement saying it's not going anywhere, and plans to open over 300 new locations in the U.S. this year.

Chipotle is a popular fast-food chain known for its burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, and more. The restaurant currently has 8 locations in Montana in Billings, Bozeman, Missoula, Helena, Great Falls, and Kalispell.

With the company's announcement of new locations opening this year, we decided to look into whether or not there was plans to open any in Montana.

A simple Google search revealed a new location planned for Bozeman's west side. The new location at the intersection of W. Oak Street and Cottonwood Road will feature Chipotle's new concept, "Chipotlane", which features the company's digital order drive thru pick-up lane. It is scheduled to open on June 24.

The new location will be the second in Bozeman, and is a part of the Northwest Crossing development. It's one of many projects planned on the west side of the city.
