The past couple of years have been extremely tough for restaurant owners in the Bozeman area. There have been several restaurants that have closed and the list seems to keep growing.

In addition to the stresses caused by the pandemic, many restaurants and businesses in Bozeman are struggling to find employees, resulting in many businesses offering a higher starting wage. A lot of restaurants have had to limit business hours due to a lack of employees.

In 2019, Bozeman resident Brandon Hale decided to follow his dream of opening a wing restaurant and opened Brando's Wing Company on the corner of 19th and Main in Bozeman. Hale is a 5th generation restaurant owner, and much of the menu includes family-inspired recipes. Some of the recipes come from his father’s fine dining restaurant in Alaska, including a special Caesar salad recipe, some desserts, and an eggplant dip, according to the Brando's Wing Company website. The restaurant's weekly specials, including "All You Can Eat Wings" Wednesdays have been popular with chicken wing lovers in the Bozeman area.

Sadly, Brando's Wing Company is closing next week. The restaurant's last day of business will be next Tuesday, August 24. The following was shared on Brando's Facebook page on Wednesday.

It’s with a heavy heart that I am announcing that Brando’s Wing Co will be closing this month. The last day we will be open will be Tuesday, August 24. There were many factors that played a role in this decision, and unfortunately, this was the only choice for my wife and I. It has been a pleasure serving Bozeman, and we want to thank our customers deeply for all the support and business you gave us! Look for me (Brando) around the area playing music with my band The Dirty Shame. Thanks again, Bozeman!!

If you want to enjoy the delicious wings at Brando's Wing Company one last time, you only have a few more days to stop by.
