Rockin The Rivers Postponed Until 2021
It was announced that Rockin The Rivers WILL NOT happen in 2020 but will be postponed until 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic is to blame and organizers tried their best to put together a safe festival this year, but ultimately deciding to postpone.
All ticket sales and campsite reservations will be honored for 2021.
Big name national acts have graced the Rockin The Rivers stage in years past such a George Thorogood, Cheap Trick, Joan Jett, Big Head Todd & The Monsters and MANY others.
They've also done a good job of having lots of local and regional bands play the festival.
Rockin The Rivers generally happens every year in mid August at the bridge on the Jefferson River near Three Forks, MT.
The official statement from Rockin The Rivers was posted to their Facebook page:
Thank you for being patient with us while we navigated this. We are a homegrown festival with the goal of bringing good folks together to celebrate great music. We held out as long as we could before making the final call but unfortunately, our event permits were denied based on the current guidelines for public gatherings set by federal, state and local authorities. Ultimately, the safety and travel concerns for the bands, vendors, volunteers, and YOU could not be ignored in this unprecedented time.
