It seems as if we're always on alert for fresh phone scams and this week is no different. Be aware of phone calls APPEARING to originate from the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office. These types of phone scams are on the rise and we've got the official word from the Sheriff:

If you get a phone call from someone asking for money for Search and Rescue, don’t believe it. That’s the word from the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office.
