If you didn't head over Homestake Pass to see the Butte, Montana festivities first hand, we've got some video of the crowds. For the most part, it seems like everything was pretty under control!

I mean, I am not surprised, but the best part is seeing which states are not rowdy or, in my words, total buzzkills for St. Patrick's Day.

Butte, MT has a decades old reputation as party central on St. Patrick's Day. Some of the stories are quite true while most have been embellished to achieve legendary status. BUT - I love Butte for all the OTHER reasons. It really is a great town just WAITING to find it's new stamp on the world.
