Taylor University Basketball’s ‘Silent Night’ Tradition Is the Coolest Thing You’ve Never Seen [VIDEO]
Every college has unique traditions, but this one is worth shouting about.
In this YouTube clip, we get a good look at Taylor University's 'Silent Night,' which is anything but.
Here's how it works: the Friday before exams when the men's basketball team plays everyone in the crowd remains dead quiet until the squad scores its 10th point. Then -- pandemonium. It's like March Madness exploded in December, with the crowd going nuts and storming the court.
It's been a tradition for about 20 years and makes us wonder what the fans will do if the team, which competes at the NAIA level, ever does win the national championship.
