This Montana Favorite Has Over 100 Different Burger Choices.
You would be hard-pressed to find a food more loved than a burger. Considered to be one of the most iconic culinary creations ever, I can't think of another dish where you have so many options.
First, there is the patty itself. You can go with traditional beef, or throw on an elk or bison patty to give it a real Montana flavor. Of course, there are those that don't eat meat, and nowadays, most places have options for those folks as well.
Then there are all of the toppings. You can go classic, or really put your own spin on it.

Recently, I wrote about The Burger Dive in Billings which serves up what many have said is the best burgers in the state. Of course, a lot of folks had differing opinions about that, and more than one person suggested I check out a restaurant east of Missoula.
Parker's Restaurant is in the little town of Drummond, Montana (about 45 minutes east of Missoula on Interstate 90) and is family owned.
So what makes this small town place so special?
Well, for starters, they serve up a great burger. We're talking quality meat, grass-fed and raised right here in Montana. Plus, they sever over 130 different types of burgers, so no matter your preference, you're sure to find something that you love.
For instance, there's the "Elvis Burger". A delicious burger with peanut butter, bananas, and bacon. Or, the "Piggy Back Cheeseburger" which is a regular loaded cheeseburger, topped with a mini loaded cheeseburger. For those looking for something totally different, there is "The Godfather", which is a double patty open-faced on Montana toast with meatballs, cheese sticks, pepperoni, and sauce.
Burgers aren't the only thing they serve at Parkers, they also have pasta, wraps, fish and chips, and fried chicken on select days. Parkers Restaurant is just one of the many family-owned restaurants that you will find across Montana.
