Tourist Gets Busted Walking on Old Faithful, Immediately Regrets It
I don't understand how tourists fail to follow even the simplest rules when visiting tourist destinations.
Yellowstone National Park is the most popular place to visit in Montana, and people come from all over the world to experience its beauty. Unfortunately, many visitors can't follow the rules and end up damaging the park or getting hurt.
Tourons (the combination of tourist and moron) of Yellowstone is a unique Instagram page that captures tourists breaking park rules and exposing their ignorance. Their latest video is something that every local will love to see.
The video shows a tourist veering off the walking path to get a closer look at Old Faithful, but they're immediately busted by a park ranger. My favorite part is the park ranger telling her off and then walking her back to the ranger's office. She's probably received a hefty ticket for breaking the law.

The ground around Old Faithful is unstable, and tourists are notified not to step off the walkways. Plus, the water that comes out of the geyser is not only boiling hot, but very acidic.
Hopefully, this video will help deter future tourists from walking off the paths that are marked for visitors. The wildlife in the park is a whole different topic—people visiting think Montana is a state-wide petting zoo. That's a discussion for another time, though.
