A long time ago, on a Montana ranch far, far away...

We all know that the world is "Yellowstone" crazy, well, it looks like it's about ready to go galactic. The popular tv show is getting ready to start filming the second prequel and let's just say that the folks behind the Yellowstone franchise decided to go lightspeed, no pun intended.

Harrison Ford is joining the cast of "1932" which will focus on the most famous fictional family in Montana, the Dutton family. Ford, who has a home not far away in Jackson Hole, brings a resume that everyone is familiar with playing some of the most iconic characters in cinema history such as Han Solo, Indiana Jones, and Jack Ryan.

Ford, won't be the only huge Hollywood star joining the cast. Helen Mirren won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth in the movie "The Queen". Mirren, who is considered one of the best actresses of our generation will also join the cast of "1932".

As mentioned, "1932" will be the second prequel for the "Yellowstone" franchise following the huge success of "1883". "1883" was filmed in Texas and Montana. We can assume that the new series will be filmed here in Montana as well.

So what will "1932" be about? Well, that's a great question and one that there isn't a whole lot of information about. However, the following was released from Paramount+ when both Ford and Mirren were announced to have joined the cast.

“the next story will introduce a new generation of the Dutton family and explore the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.”

So what do you think? Are you excited about "1932"? Will you be more likely to watch the series with Ford and Mirren in the cast? One thing is for sure, folks will certainly be on the lookout for Han Solo or Indiana Jones sightings around Montana.
