National Chili Day is this Thursday, February 25. It's celebrated on the fourth Thursday in February every year.

There's nothing like a nice hearty bowl of chili to fend off the cold during the winter in Montana. If you want to celebrate at home, you can make your own chili. It's fairly easy to make and yields generous portions.

Recently, Insider.com posted an article featuring chili recipes from nine different celebrity chefs including Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, and more. If you want to try to make one of their recipes, you can check them out here.

If you want to support a local Bozeman business on National Chili Day, you don't have to look far. There are quite a few restaurants in the Bozeman area that offer a quality bowl of chili.

Personally, my favorite restaurant for chili is Ted's Montana Grill in downtown Bozeman. Karen's "Flying D" Bison Chili at Ted's is out of this world and will surely warm you up on a cold winter day in Montana.

Famous Dave's Barbeque in Bozeman is another great place to enjoy a bowl of chili. Dave's Award-Winning Chili is a local favorite on their menu.

Mackenzie River Pizza in Bozeman and Belgrade both offer Chicken Chili on their menu if you're not a fan of red meat.

If you don't have time to sit down at a restaurant, you can always order to go. If you're in a hurry, Wendy's has chili on their menu as well, and it's actually really good. If you know of any other restaurants in the Bozeman area that have chili on their menu, please let us know.
