Another advisory is on the board for southwest Montana until Sunday morning. A few more inches of snow could fall this weekend, but MOSTLY in the southern portions of Gallatin and Madison counties.

According to the National Weather Service:

Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5 am Saturday to 3 am Sunday.

  • WHAT: snow is expected.
  • Plan on slippery Road conditions.
  • Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches, with localized amounts up to 5 inches, are expected.
  • WHERE: southern Madison and Gallatin counties.
  • This advisory does not include Bozeman and Ennis.
  • WHEN: from 5 am Saturday to 3 am Sunday.
  • Be prepared for reduced visibility at times, especially when driving.
