With all of the controversy this year surrounding the Livingston Roundup Parade route, a lot of folks thought the parade had been cancelled. So let's clear up that rumor right now. Yes, there will be a parade in Livingston on July 2nd, and yes, it's going to be fun and exciting just like it is every year.

The controversy was over the parade route, which historically ran all the way to Park Street. City officials have decided that using Park is no longer safe (even though there have been no incidents with the former route in nearly 100 years), so they have shortened the route by a block, sending floats and horses across Callender to get from 2nd Street to Main.
