Arraignment Scheduled For Man In Cody Wyoming Abduction Case

Jesse Speer - a former Manhattan, Montana resident has had his arraignment scheduled for his role in the abduction of an 11 year old girl this past October. It is set for Friday, December 21 at 1 p.m. in Park County District Court in Cody, Wyoming.  Speer is being held there on charges of kidnapping and aggravated assault.

The abduction rocked not only Wyoming, but Southwest Montana as well. According to charging documents, Speer lured the victim into his car asking for help finding his puppy.  He then took her into the mountains and sexual assaulted her, then let her go to find her way home on a chilly night.   Speer was arrested in Belgrade, MT after camera's got his vehicle information from traveling through Yellowstone National Park.  We will keep you up to date with all the details as they are released in his upcoming court appearances.
