Belgrade Teen Stars in Movie: Watch Trailer

We have a local movie star right here in the Gallatin Valley and you can meet him on Sunday, December 16th.  J.D. Hoppe, of Belgrade, starred in the movie Sk8 Dawg along with well known celebrities Tony Hawk, Joey Lawrence, and Sara Fletcher.

J.D. Hoppe will be at Movie Lovers in Belgrade to take pictures and sign autographs. The family friendly movie will be screening at Movie Lovers in Belgrade next to Town & Country at 203 W Madison Ave St.  Sk8 Dawg will be shown at 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.  You can get tickets now for $6 with bottomless popcorn by calling 406-388-0744.

J.D. plays Tommy Schooner in the film whose family is all about skateboarding and his parents even own a skateboard company.  Tommy challenges the local bully and skater to a skate competition and with lots of practice and help from his best friend and his dog he may just be ready for the competition.  Watch the trailer below.
