Starting on Monday 4/27, you'll encounter some single-lane closures on HWY 84 between Bozeman and Norris as part of the East of Norris Corridor Study project.
From April 27 to May 15, Landslide Technology crews will begin drilling in the roadway at select locations along a three-mile section of Highway 84 as part of the Highway 84 – East of Norris Corridor Study project.
Crews will be working between the Warm Springs Boat Launch and Red Mountain Campground on Highway 84, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Throughout this time, drivers can expect single-lane closures.
Traffic control will be set up while drilling activities are taking place.
No weekend work will be conducted.
Flaggers will be in place to guide travel through the area and 5-minute delays are expected.
The Highway 84 – East of Norris Corridor Study is exploring all feasible options to improve safety for the corridor.
This two-lane highway, with its hilly terrain and curves following the river, has more crashes on it than the statewide average for similar highways.
