COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Happening at Manhattan High School

The Gallatin City-County Health Department has partnered with the Manhattan school district and has scheduled a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at Manhattan High School. The clinic is scheduled for Monday, May 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and will be open to all residents of Manhattan and the surrounding communities.

The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered at the clinic for those 16 years or older. For individuals under 18, a parent or guardian must be present. Second doses will be administered on June 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Those interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine at the clinic are asked to bring the following items with them.

• Identification
• Smartphone (optional)
• Pen
• Vaccine questions
• Allergy information
• Information on any vaccine you've received in the last 14 days

A nurse, emergency medical technician, or paramedic will administer the vaccine. They will ask you a few questions and explain the possible side effects.

Here's how to prepare.

The Day Before:

• Review the vaccine fact sheet for Pfizer and Moderna on healthygallatin.org and write down any questions or concerns.
• Write down any severe allergic reactions you've had to any vaccine or injectable medication. Severe reactions include if you were treated with epinephrine or EpiPen, or if you had to be treated at a hospital.
• Write down any vaccines received in the last 14 days.

The Day of Your Vaccine:

• Eat well and drink plenty of fluids before your appointment.
• Plan to wear a short-sleeve shirt or tank top.
• Decide which arm you would like your vaccine.
• Expect to stay at the location anywhere from 15-30 minutes after your shot.
