Fun News: Lanes of Main Street to Close for a Week

In what may be the truest test of patience in the history of Bozeman, two lanes of Main Street are going to close down the week before Montana State students return to class.

I beg all of us to practice patience with the closure and with fellow drivers and pedestrians.

Bozeman has a choice: a) get zen and chill out about detours and delays for 5 days or b) make this into a bigger deal than it is..........I vote for getting zen and making sure nobody gets hurt :-)

Here's what's going on with the Main Street lane closures:

• East bound lanes on Main Street between Willson and Tracy Avenues will be closed Monday, August 22nd until Friday, August 26th.
• East bound traffic will be detoured south on Willson and then east on Babcock.
• The lane closure is due to the installation of new sewer and water lines into the Railto Theater.
