Is It Okay To Share Big News Via Text?
My friend got a new car, my former co-worker has met a new love interest and my cousin got engaged. I found all of this out and I haven't spoken with any of them. It was all via text. The problem: I don't see anything wrong with it. Am I just one of those people using technology in place of real-life conversations?
I know my friend is in love with her new SUV. I know what it looks like, how it drives and why she loves it so much.
My former co-worker is taking a huge leap of faith and started dating a new guy. He's adorable. They are adorable together. They spend the weekends doing fun activities, attending concerts and discussing how quickly they want their relationship to move.
Last night, I got the news that my cousin is engaged. The ring is gorgeous. I looked at it through blurry eyes...on my phone.
I receive the biggest news via text. Is this wrong?
