We hate to see another vacant building/business space here in Bozeman, especially when we see million dollar buildings constantly being built. I understand the desire to have a brand new beautiful building that is state of the art, but why not take a building with history and make it into something really great?

I received a message the other day that another loved Bozeman business was going to be closing their doors for good. If you are a pet lover, this is especially sad news for you.

The VIV stated on a Facebook post the following:

It is with a heavy heart that we are offering our business for sale. If you have interest in owning your favorite pet store, all of our inventory and fixtures are available. Serious inquiries only..-Official Facebook page

The Viv is and was Bozeman's only independent pet store located in The Market at Ferguson Farms. They specialized in vivarium plants, creatures, and supplies.

Locals used The Viv to purchase snakes, reptiles, fish, live plants, live food, and so much more. With it shutting down, some Bozeman residents are stuck with where to turn.

Now if you have always dreamed of owning your own pet store, this could be an opportunity you won't want to pass up. If you are looking to help the amazing owners of The Viv downsize their inventory and displays, you can message them below for details.

10 Montana Grocery Items That Could Be In Short Supply In 2023.

The last couple of years has been rough for a lot of Montanans as the supply chain was disrupted over the whole pandemic. Of course, we're now a few years removed, and yet certain items are still hard to come by.

Although we've "officially" moved on, there are now other factors that are being blamed for higher prices and lower supply. The war in Ukraine, high fuel costs, lack of manpower, etc. It seems there are several reasons behind it, and none of them look like they're in our favor as consumers.

So what does this all mean?  It means that we're looking at a possible shortage when it comes to groceries. Sadly, most of the items on the list are staples that we tend to use on a regular basis.
