Montana Spectrum Users, We Have Bad News If You Love ESPN
Well, this is a bummer for the opening weekend of college football.
Most folks in Montana have three options to watch cable TV. The main choices are either DISH, DirecTV, or Spectrum. Montanans love Spectrum. Why? Spectrum by Charter is affordable, easy to maintain, and has all the channels you want.

One of the most popular channels on Spectrum is ESPN. ESPN is a part of several sports-themed channels but is owned by its parent company, Disney. Disney owns and operates several of the highest-profile channels on cable and is watched by children and adults.
That's why this is a massive bummer.
If you throw on a channel owned by Disney, which includes programs like ESPN and ABC, you will notice this fun message from Spectrum. Check it out.
According to The Atheltic, Spectrum and Disney are in the middle of negotiating a new TV deal, and both sides are having issues. Spectrum says they have offered a fair bargain to Disney, but they are being greedy. Disney says the marketplace has changed, and their numbers are more than honest. It's a massive mess.
Until this is resolved, Spectrum users will not have access to any channel owned and operated by Disney.
If you plan on watching college football this weekend, you might have to make alternative arrangements. You won't have access to the biggest games of the weekend, and if this continues into next week, you won't be able to watch the first Monday Night Football game of the NFL season.
Maybe switch to YouTubeTV or Sling until this problem is resolved. We have no idea when this dispute will end.
