Best time to watch.

You are going to get the best view during the early morning hours, by early morning I mean just before dawn. This is because the Perseid meteors tend to strengthen in number as late night deepens into the wee hours.

What you can expect (with ideal conditions).

If the skies are clear (fingers crossed), you could see up to 90 meteors per hour! That is crazy to think about! I feel like the whole sky would be full of shooting balls of fire.
