On Wednesday, the Montana Rib & Chop House located in Livingston announced that the restaurant is temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The restaurant is working to reopen as soon as possible. After the employee tested positive, the Health Department reached out to everyone who came in contact with the employee and those individuals have been asked to quarantine as well. According to a Facebook post, the employee has not worked in the building since July 1.

During the temporary closure, the building will be sanitized in an effort to provide the safest environment for staff and guests. An official reopening date have not been announced.
